Hollie Driscoll
Hollie began her yoga teacher training believing it would be a good way to increase her knowledge of yoga for her own practice. She had no idea it would become her life’s passion and work! Hollie completed the two and a half year hatha yoga and meditation teacher training at
Hollie came to yoga after experiencing a lot of depression and anxiety in her own life and was looking for a way to try to understand the fluctuations of her own mind. Yoga was a revelation in that it not only gave her the space to be in these emotions with having to react or run away but also gave her the tools to understand why she was experiencing these emotions and how to understand what is behind these emotions and thought patterns. From this start with her own practice and from working with other people experiencing their own minds Hollie believes yoga and meditation to be an invaluable practice for anyone who wants to live a more open hearted and clear minded way of life.
Teaching yoga is such a blessing as it not only enables you to share your knowledge of this beautiful practice with others but the more you interact with your students and other practitioners the deeper your own practice becomes. In her classes Hollie aims to create a space where each person can experience their own physical, mental and subtle self through flowing asana, pranayama practice and finishing with chanting and meditation to connect with that deep calm space within, the true nature of self, which is the ultimate goal of yoga practice.
