Pilates
Pilates is a wonderfully comprehensive set of dynamic exercises that strengthen and stretch the body. Pilates works the full body to enable balanced muscle development and increased wellbeing.

Pilates exercises promote strong core muscles. A strong body ensures that the head, neck and body are well supported, and back and knee pain are minimised. Pilates assists general toning, recovery programmes and development training for sportsmen and women. The exercises are readily adapted to suit different body types and needs. Pilates is suitable for men and women of all ages.

Pilates@ The Living Room. All our Pilates classes are small to ensure quality teaching. The exercises are done barefoot and on mats. There is no specialised equipment. Just turn up in comfortable clothes (mats are provided) and feel welcome. Ongoing classes are available both daytime and evening. These are one hour in length and open to all levels. Six-week courses can be arranged to suit groups of 6-8 friends/ work colleagues. Get together for your good health.

New 6 week course designed especially for those working at an Intermediate level. This upbeat class is great for those already familiar with the exercises and looking to refine technique and get the blood flowing. A great winter warm up!

Class time: Fridays 1.45pm – 2.45pm from July 31 2009
