SHAMANIC HEALING
The word Shaman originates from the Tungas tribe of Siberia, and means "one who sees in the dark"/"with a heart".

It is the Shaman that works with the spiritual aspect of an illness/dis-ease and therefore looks after and cares for the spirit of the person.

Through the technique of Journeying (which differentiates Shamanic Healing from other modes of healing), the Shaman will travel to different spirit realms to communicate and interact with the spirit world, to retrieve information, power animals and/or soul parts and to act as a psychopomp (a person who assist souls cross over).

SOUL LOSS AND SOUL RETRIEVAL

According to the Shamanic perspective, one of the major causes of illness is Soul Loss. Soul Loss is a spiritual illness that causes dis-ease.

When we experience trauma, a part of our vital essence/soul separates from our body as a way to survive. Soul Loss may occur during this life time, or may be carried on from one life time to the next.

Once permission is granted, Sam calls forth your Higher Self / Spirit and perform the healing, beyond time and space without you being physically present. During this time it is advisable that you create sacred space in your own home, allowing yourself to be open to the changes of energies and the powerful and sacred healing that will occur. If it is a soul / power animal retrieval, Sam will blow these returned soul parts into a healing stone and forward it onto you – this then becomes your sacred medicine item to carry and embody.
