Discover a deeper connection and understanding of you and your partners feelings and limits, understand there is strength in gentleness, learn the art of touch through partner stretches and massage.

 This class will bring you an amazing realisation of your suppleness as you are able to relax while your partner gently moves you through these postures with care and awareness. As the partner gives the stretch they will understand where their partner’s limits are; when it is time to give space and time to give encouragement.

 It is important for us all to learn to give and receive and most importantly to share with love, enjoyment and tender care.

Dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Worry and Lethargy

Aside from cancer; anxiety and depression are the major dis-eases in our society today, many drugs are given leaving terrible side affects and the reminder every day that you have a problem. 
In yoga we work with our organs and glands, once you understand that each organ holds a specific emotion you will begin to understand it is probably more a physical problem than a mental, which leads you to believe there is more of a chance to fix this.
Natalie Almond has dealt with many anxiety and depression clients having had a great deal of success in helping these people.
The key to aiding this ailment is to realise you only need to change your obsessions to healthy ones and once you find that natural high there is no turning back as there are no side affects and you did it for your self.
In this workshop Natalie will work with your individual breath, posture, use sound and visualisation and give a short seminar on the way these dis comforts are created, so thre will be keys to carry with you after the workshop.

Pranayama and Meditation Workshops

 In the Yoga Sutras Patanjali states there are eight limbs of yoga: Yama, Nyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi
Pranayama can be translated as reducing the disturbances in the mind by controlling the breath
Dharana can be translated as directing the mind towards a chosen object
Over the next three months Hollie will be taking a series of workshops to develop/deepen our pranayama and meditation practice. The workshops will focus on breath awareness and correct breathing techniques, as well as developing deeper subtler practices of pranayama, including working with the bundhas. This will lead into developing our concentration, or meditation, practice.

Each workshop will start with setting the foundations of basic pranayama and meditation and each month we will then explore different techniques to work with, finishing the classes with chanting. The workshops will have a short theoretical lesson but will be mostly practical so it is best to just eat a light breakfast on the day (preferably nothing after 11am) so the stomach is empty

'Adapting to Change '- The Earth Element


As we come into the change of seasons our stomach, spleen and pancreas are working the hardest, if these organs are out of balance you may tend to feel anxious and worry a lot, or you may feel depressed and lethargic. If the spleen is healthy you will have energy, focus and have the feeling of strength enabling you to face the challenges and 'changes' of life.

 When change comes about our spleen is working hard to help our bodies’ mucous adjust, this happens when we are going through all sorts of changes in life whether it be weather or patterns within us.

A cold is a good thing; the old mucous is burning out of the body with a fever, allowing a new well adjusted mucous lining to come through helping the body to adapt to this change.

So when some body sneezes do not grimace, bless them as they are being blessed with a new change, and bless the angels.

 One Week Retreat In Bali



with Natalie Almond

Natalie Almond is holding a one week "Chakra Retreat" at Cemagi town, in Bali, very close to the beach  very near to where the
surf is pumping.

 

We will be working one chakra each day; creating a firm base so when we get to the top we can fly and still be grounded.

This workshop will include yoga, chi kung, meditation, visualisation and sound and a few theory sessions. 
Bring a wish for yourself and feel it develop through the week.

Be prepared for change, it is bound to happen!

 

There will still be time for; rest, relaxation, massage, swimming, surfing, shopping, whatever you like to do.

Traditional Balinese food will be served daily.

Rooms will be shared.
