Beck discovered yoga at the age of 20 whilst completing her Music Theatre Degree from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Beck found that yoga was a way to not only keep the body strong and limber for stage but also a way to go deeper in connecting body, breath and mind.
In 2009, Beck decided to throw herself into teaching as a way to share these amazing disciplines with others on a similar path. She has studied with great yogis in Hawaii at Maya Yoga and Sydney at Nature Care College.
Beck is committed to wellbeing and believes that a strong body, clear mind and open heart are the way to living a balanced and rewarding life. “Yoga helps me find balance on and off the mat. I like the feeling of having a strong and supple body and mind. Yoga has given me tools to cope with many difficult situations and to also explore greater joy, greater delight!”
About the livingroom
“The living room is special to me because it is a beautiful space to practice in – there is nothing quite like the sound of the ocean to meditate to or the sun rising over the horizon as you finish your sun salutations. The teachers and the students are all very much a part of this space – I have met so many beautiful souls here and deepened connections with people I already knew.”
