Summer is a yang time of year, as we test our endurance in a mad rush to the finish line, burning the candle at both ends with a busy social calendar, and spending spare time soaking up the sun, it’s easy to over do it, over-heat, dry out and feel depleted.
This 90 minute practice will help you to stop, get present, restore and revitalise. Focused specifically on the seasonal meridian lines of Summer – the heart and small intestines – it will target the fire element to bring you back into balance all while connecting you to your heart space so you can open fully to the love, joy and happiness the silly season has to offer.
Open to yoga practitioners of all levels, the practice will combine yin yoga, mindfulness techniques, pranayama and heart opening meditation.
